He was predeceased by: his parents, Plummer Starnes (P. M.) and Ollie Starnes; and his siblings, Horace, Russell, Clara, Lois, Vernon, Kermit, Bruce, Orville, Edith, Lucille, Evelyn, Alma, Tom and Inez.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Smith; his daughters, Shelly Brock (Rich) and Shannon Zornes (Carl); and his grandsons, Hayden Hoffman, Christian Hoffman and Nathan Zornes. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and their children and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canaan Baptist Church Men's Ministry.
