He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Norman and Emily Elizabeth Thomas (Schalk); his wife Helen Thomas (Williams); and his siblings, Richard "Dick" Thomas, Mary "Peg" Logan, Clara O'Bannon, Hubert "Joe" Thomas Jr., Virginia "Gen" Edwards, Martha Nekola (late Roger), Mildrid "Millie" Burch, Tilford "Tip" Thomas, Martin Thomas, Essie Parrott and Marion "Tommy" Thomas.
He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Thomas of Festus, Kathryn May of Park Hills, Ann Thomas of Farmington and Jane Grass (Dave) of Ste. Genevieve; his grandchildren, Matthew May (Kaylee), Diana "Niki" Thomas, Krista Southerland (Eric), Clint Barber (Ashley) and Alex Grass; and his great grandchildren, Christian Dean, Parker Dean, Lukas Kimbrell, Madelyn May, Ryder May and Helena Barber. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
