He was predeceased by: his father Leonard Wright Sr.; and his brothers, John William Wright, Leonard Wright Jr. and Gary Wayne Wright. He is survived by: his mother Anna Elizabeth Wright (Bird) of St. Louis; his brothers, Robert Wright (Cherish) of St. Louis and Richard Wright (Tess) of Omaha, NE; and his former wife Glenda Wright of Belleville, IL. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
