She was predeceased by: her parents, John C. Maurer and Elizabeth Maurer (Pierce); her husband John Gross, Jr.; and her siblings, Betty Sanderfur, Paul Maurer and Harold Maurer.
She is survived by: her son John Anthony Gross; her grandson John Anthony Gross, Jr. (Amanda); her great grandchild Braxton Gross; and her brothers, Ed Maurer, Bill Maurer (Linda) and Robert Maurer. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and many great-nieces and nephews.
