He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Simms and Joyce Elizabeth Simms (Laws); and his brothers-in-law, Clyde Winter and Larry Allen. He is survived by: his wife Eva Jane Simms (Harrington); his children, Donnie (Kerri), Denita (Gary) and Dana (Pat); his grandchildren, Michael, Kelsey (Richie), Justin, Blake (Kelbie), Tara (Eric), Brylee, Jordan (Ariel) and Jesse (Afton); his great grandchildren, Haili, Makenzie, Lucas, Charlotte, Aiden, Levi, Owen, Chloe, Chandler and Erikson; his siblings, Betty Winter, Sally Allen and Harold Junior Simms (Connie); his close friend Stanley; and his pet Smokey Joe. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to St. Paul Lutheran Church of St Paul Lutheran School.
