He was predeceased by: his sister Alice "Pat" Murphy. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Medley (Elser) of Farmington; his sons, Mark Medley (Beth) of Farmington and Brent Medley (Cara Hart) of Farmington; and his grandchildren, Chase Medley, Margaret Medley and Allaina Darnell. He is also survived by nephews and many friends.
