He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Miller and Hester Miller; his siblings, Sam, Mittie, Nellie Wilson (Clyde), Cora Barnes (Gene), Dolly Montgomery (Vetus), John Miller (Kathryn) and Doyle Miller (Mary); his in-laws, Robert and Clara Gilliland; and his siblings-in-law, Bud Stills, Betty Coale (Robert) and Sandra Gilliland.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Miller; his children, Glenn Miller (Linda) and Pam Heisel (Mark); his grandchildren, Kyle McDowell (Aaron), Jamie Brune (Dustin), Keeley Williamson (Walker), Jenny Blankenship (Ryan) and Sam Miller (Taylor); his great grandchildren, Wyatt, Sawyer McDowell, Axtin, Trigg Brune, Weston, Brodey Williamson, Nolan, Addyson Blankenship, Monroe, Carter and Lincoln Miller; his sister Linda Patterson (Jerry); and his siblings-in-law, Bobby Gilliland, Bruce Gilliland (Pattie), Brenda Berghaus (Roy) and Bonita Mahurin (Butch). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the C. Z. Boyer Funeral Home – Farmington Chapel (111 E Liberty St, Farmington, MO 63640). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Taylor Chapel (111 E Liberty St, Farmington, MO 63640). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:45 PM at the Woodlawn Cemetery (419 Woodlawn Dr, Leadington, MO 63601).
In lieu of flowers, all donations in memory of LJ can be made to the Farmington School District CTA Cares Backpack Program or Pink Penguin Project, a local non profit that provides a range of essential items, support services and builds a strong community of individuals who care for local people undergoing cancer treatments.
