She was predeceased by: her father Rastus Dave; her husband Raymond R. Brooks; her son Zane Ray Brooks; and her son-in-law Glen Govero. She is survived by: her daughters, Myra Nickles, Verna Brooks, Veena Govero, Nicki Brooks and Michelle Proctor (Milton). She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; and thirty great-grandchildren.
