He is survived by: his wife Nikky Carpenter (Ballew); his children, Bryan Carpenter, Craig Carpenter (Katie) and Denise Zastrow (Brian); his grandchildren, Cayla Henderson (Adam), Teagan Carpenter, Ryan Carpenter, Robert Zastrow and Cheyenne Carpenter; his great grandchild Ashton Henderson; his sisters, Jackie Menke (Butch) and Judy Cook (Jim); and his brothers-in-law, Gene Ballew (Sharon) and Jack Ballew (Charlotte).
