She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Pettinger and Fern Pettinger (Huckins); her siblings, Tim Pettinger (late Clara), George Pettinger, Steve Pettinger and Isabelle Driver (late Don); and her pet Snuggles.
She is survived by: her husband Derin Phelps; her children, Derin Shawn Phelps II of Kansas City, MO, Sarah Faye Taylor (Steven) of Winchester, MO and Sandra Fern Poynor of Licking, MO; her grandchildren, Jimmy Paul "JP" Goodson, Scire Goodson and Gaven Delashmit; her brothers, John Pettinger (Virginia) of Lansing, MI, Bruce Pettinger (Sandy) of Lansing, MI and Ron Pettinger (Marsha) of Marine City, MI; and her sisters-in-law, Anna Jo Pettinger of Lansing, MI and Marsha Pettinger of Lansing, MI. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
