He is survived by: his wife Glenda Ward; his children, David Duesterbeck, Cindy Duesterbeck and Fernie Duesterbeck, Jr.; his nephew Gary Carlisle (Nancy); and his siblings-in-law, Robert Allen Tomlinson and Patricia Ann Atter. He is also survived by five step-children; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
