She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Edgar and Kathryn "Flesch" Wann, Sr.; her husband Charles M. "Jack" Hopkins; her son Charles David Hopkins; and her brother Harry Wann, Jr. (Wilma).
She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Nelson (David) and Connie Young (Scott); and her grandchildren, Raven Winters, Sara Young and Sadie Young. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, friends and family.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Pendleton United Baptist Church (3357 Hildebrecht Rd, Doe Run, MO 63637). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 2:15 PM at the Doe Run Memorial Cemetery.
Memorials may be made in memory of Ethel to Pendleton United Baptist Church or Shriners Hospital for Children.
