He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Raymond and Velma Dee Winslett (Miller); and his former wife Shirley Winslett (Mathews). He is survived by: his siblings, Jessie Winslett, Geraldine Winslett, Alice Herndon and Kenneth Wayne Winslett; his daughter Gayla Renee Winslett Stanley; his nephews, Donnie Overbey and Ronnie Overbey; his grandson Nicholas John Stanley; his son-in-law Stephan Stanley; his great grandchildren, Easton Jon Stanley and Nevaeh Renee Stanley; and his nieces and nephews, Bradley Verdon Winslett, Tyler Aaron Winslett, Tammy Pikul, Jennifer Andrews, Keith Herndon, John Herndon, James Herndon and Brent Overbey.
