He was predeceased by: his father Charles Dewey; his grandson Matthew Johnson; his son-in-law Ryan Pratt; and his niece Sarah Smallen. He is survived by: his wife Tracy Smallen (Lopez); his children, Teresa Griggs (Dwane), Tracy Pratt, Justin Smallen, Brook Fowler (Doug), Dawn Smallen and Derek Smallen; his grandchildren, Skylar, Alysa, Alexis, Elizabeth, Tyler, Brady and Paxton; his great grandchildren, Riley, Madison, Preston, Ava, Ellie, Isabella, Maverick and Holden; and his brothers, Paul "Gene" Smallen (Fern) and Larry "Smoke" Smallen (Katie). He is also survived by several other family members and friends.
Memorials may be directed to Huckstep Heart and Lung Center at Parkland Hospital in Farmington.
