She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Kay Elders Johnson (late William F. Johnson Jr.), Sharon Ruth Elders Noah (Leslie) and Karen Jean Elders Tillman (Mitchell); her grandchildren, Jennifer A. Hayes-Anderson (Kevin L. Anderson Jr.), Melissa J. Tillman-Robinson (Eric W. Robinson), Rebecca L. Tillman-Anderson (Seth D. Anderson) and Mitchell K. Tillman, Jr.; and her brother William L. Allen (Nikki Allen).
