He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Rirurize Chacon Sr. and Nancy Chacon (Ruiz); and his sisters, Senaida and Hilda. He is survived by: his siblings, Enrique Chacon, David Chacon, Esolia Mendez, Nemacio Chacon and Gloria Orona. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
