She was predeceased by: her parents, Benigno Aponte and Maria Aponte (Ortiz); her husband Carmelo Velazquez Calderon Sr.; her children, Lizzette Woodard and Carmelo Velazquez Calderon Jr.; her granddaughter Lillian Barbosa; her great grandchildren, Adam Marquez and Milady Mercado; and her siblings, Isaura, Jose, Conrado, Lucerminda, Christina, Geraldo, Lydia and Freddy.
She is survived by: her children, Lillian Borras (Joseph) of Converse, TX, Leila Velazquez of Farmington, Luis Velazquez of Brooklyn, NY and Anthony Velazquez of Hackettstown, NJ. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren, 9 great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, in laws, and friends.
