She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Gilton and Nellie Gilton (Herbert Keith Hinkle); her daughter Connie Wideman; and her siblings, Mary Sue Hill and Ilar Gilton.
She is survived by: her son Larry Whalen (Wendy); her stepdaughters, Sharon Skaggs (Billy), Linda Armstrong (Rick) and Michelle Allen (Brandon); her grandchildren, Tallie Mordecai, Trisha Adams (Rodney), Benjamin Mordecai (Jennifer), Zachary Whalen and Kelsey Rhodes (Denver); her great grandchildren, Bre, Anna Phillips (Zachary), Dalton Adams (Courtney), Trae Adams (Sara), Hunter Adams, Lily Mordecai, Mayci Mordecai and Dru Douglas; and her great great grandchildren, Ryder Adams and Dawson Jo Phillips.
