It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bill Thaxton of Farmington, Missouri, born in Kennett, Missouri, who passed away on December 5, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Steve Wimmer. He is survived by: his wife Joan Thaxton (Schmidt); his children, Tammy Fortner, Mary Thaxton and Bill Thaxton, Jr. (Rita); his grandchildren, Lisa Sansoucie, Linda Schmidt (Don), Christine Slaughter-King and Nick Wimmer; and his brother John Thaxton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
