She was predeceased by: her parents, Ervin Wampler and Pearl Wampler (Smith); her husband Jesse E. "Bud" Hammers; her brothers, Bob Wampler and Glen Wampler; and her daughter-in-law Marla Hammers.
She is survived by: her pet Blossom; her children, Michael Hammers (late Marla) and Judith Abney (Charley); her grandchildren, Chris Webb (Becky), Leslie Gegg (Bryan), Carie Thomure (Cory Wolff), Kelly Webb and Pam Hammers; and her siblings, Larry Wampler, Donald Wampler, Bonnie Wampler, Nancy James and Alma Burnside. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren, seven great great grandchildren.
