It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alma Gertrude Hawkins of Farmington, Missouri, who passed away on January 30, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Murphy and Gertrude Murphy (Wilkerson); her husband Harold "Gene" Hawkins; her daughters, Mary Ann Burch and Linda Gail Hawkins; and her siblings, Blanche Murphy, Linda Marie Murphy, Wilma Hollinger (late Elmer "Sug") and Alvin "Bud" Murphy (late Audell).
She is survived by: her son-in-law Tom Burch of Farmington; her grandchildren, Kristee Bloom (John) of Irondale and Keith Burch (Casey) of Farmington; and her great grandchildren, Lindsay Bloom, Ty Burch and Brody Burch. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cozean Memorial Chapel (217 W Columbia St, Farmington, MO 63640). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Knob Lick Cemetery.
