It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vinston Kampeter (Farber, Missouri), born in Argyle, Missouri, who passed away on February 14, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Kampeter and Rose Kampeter (Wieberg); his wife Alice L. Kampeter; his sons, Eaddy Lee and John Herman Kampeter; his siblings, Roman Kampeter, Vic Kampeter, Lucy Drinkard, Lorene Pauley and Mary Ann Miller; his son-in-law Rodney Burnett; and his grandson Dan Garrett.
He is survived by: his children, Charlene (Barry Garrett) of Columbia, Nancy E. Burnett of Vandalia and Ed (Penny Kampeter) of Curryville; his siblings, Emil Kampeter (Gladys) of Jefferson City, Gus Kampeter (Johnna Sue) of Jefferson City and Fronie Corl of Jefferson City; and his grandchildren, Tricia Kampeter of Vandalia, Travis Kampeter (Mindy) of Eldon, Jessica Howald (Danny) of Center, Jeff Garrett of O'Fallon, Lindsey Bedford (Travis) of Lake St, Allison Vaughan (Danny) of Wardsville and Benny Burnett (Sarah) of Vandalia. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
