He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallen Cox and Beulah Cox (Hood); his son Tony Cox; his brothers, Bill Cox and Jim Cox; and his siblings-in-law, Ted Easley and Jean Cox.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Ray; his children, Chris Cox of Angleton, Texas and Tessie Cox of Fairview, Missouri; his sister Mary Ellen Easley of Lowell, Arkansas; his sister-in-law Leatrice Cox of Cassville; and his grandchildren, Austin, Hunter, Lane, Kayley and Makenzie.
