He was predeceased by: his parents, James and Betty; and his brother Mike Smith. He is survived by: his wife Paula Dunkle; his sons, Daniel Smith (Ginny) of Fairfax, Jacob Smith (Kristy) of Fairfax, Eric Dunkle (Becky) and Clayton Dunkle (Morgan); his grandchildren, Oliver, Charlie, Henry, Mack, Scout, Everlee, Kierra, Dexter, Ashton, Megan (Colby), Abigail and Mia; his great grandchildren, Bella, Dedric and Elric; and his brothers, Jay Smith (Stephanie) and Kevin (Denise).
