He was predeceased by: his parents, Drisdale Brown and Mary Margaret Brown (Steele) of Fairfax; his aunt Martha (Steele); and his uncle Albert Evans of Fairfax. He is survived by: his wife Mary K. Brown (DeHaven); his children, Lisa Bennett (James) of Germantown, Russ Brown (Stacy) of Lee's Summit and Amy Brown of Boston, Massachusetts; and his brother Stanley Brown (Cheryll) of Redlands, California. He is also survived by three grandchildren, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Fairfax Methodist Church or Fairfax Volunteer Fire Department.
