He was predeceased by: his son Michael W. Burmeister; his stepfather Dee Holcomb; and his siblings, Joanie, Dennis Sullivan, Terry Sullivan and Doug Sullivan.
He is survived by: his wife Jenny West; and his brother Walter (Linda Sullivan). He is also survived by Ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
