He was predeceased by: his father Carter Loftis Russell; and his sister Jean Russell. He is survived by: his mother Frances Russell (Payne) of Doniphan; his sons, Matt Russell of Fairdealing and Scott Russell; his stepchildren, Jaykin Baucum of Doniphan and Vallan Bush (John) of Eagle River, AK; and his sister Jane Russell of St. Louis, MO.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his memory to The American Heart Association.
