It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Don Young Sr. of Fairdealing, Missouri, born in Delaplaine, Arkansas, who passed away on August 16, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Alvin and Ruth Young (Maynard); his former spouse Pat Parks; and his siblings, Geneva Hill, Juanita Young, Earl, Ray, Paul and Gerald Young.
He is survived by: his wife Betsy Swingle; his children, Stacy Taylor (Toby) of Oxly, MO, Donny Young (Jamie) of Doniphan and Jill Wright (Brian) of Harviell; his stepchildren, Glenn DuVall (Buffy) of St. Louis, Joshua DuVall of Jonesboro, AR and Rachel Coronado (Josh) of Fort Drum, NY; and his siblings, Glenda Havens (Mike) of Byron, IL, Clarence Young (Linda) of Harviell, Cloyce Young of Gatewood and Herbert Young of Elizabeth, IL. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; six step grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one step great-grandchild.
