He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Davis and Lora Mae Davis (Rodgers); his wife Debra Estelle White; his sisters, Evelyn Stull, Rosie and Elsie; and his stepbrother Earnest Bridgeforth.
He is survived by: his son Walter Davis; his stepson Kenny Ward; and his stepsiblings, Faye England, Fannie Bridgeforth, Sadie Doane, Ray Bridgeforth, Gibb Bridgeforth, Sonny Bridgeforth and Robert Bridgeforth. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends.
