She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Parks and Winifred Parks; her brothers, Henry and Richard Parks; her sons, Steven and Lawrence Sopko; her daughter-in-law Mari Sopko; and her stepchildren, Carla Martin and Keith Martin.
She is survived by: her children, Patrick Sopko, Kathleen Gabel (Douglas), Theresa Wheaton (John), Michael Sopko (Teresa) and Matthew Sopko (Debbie); her stepdaughter Marla Martin; her daughter-in-law Mary Frey; and her stepdaughter-in-law Ruth Wertenberger. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; and 19 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Pilgrim's Rest Building Fund honoring Carole's lifelong commitment to helping others.
