She was also cherished by three nieces and one nephew.

“I was so sorry to hear about Donnis passing. Our friendship goes back to when both of us were teenagers. We met at the Fort Scott Skating Rink back in the 1950's. We dated some up to the time I went into the Military in 1958. After that we just sort of lost contact with each other. After my release from the U.S. Army in 1961 and returned home, Donnis came up to me and welcomed me home. That was the last time that I saw her until Duane's funeral. My Condolences/Prayers to the family. Clete Hall”
