With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Allan Slane of Exeter, Missouri, born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on April 4, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Slane and Bessie Slane (Bourke); his sons, Randy Slane and Joseph Slane; and his sisters, Beverly Stull and Joyce Goodwin.
He is survived by: his children, Danny Ickes (Mary) of Fremont, Daryl Ickes (Shelly) of Washburn, Brian Slane of Cassville, Missouri, Shelley Jones of Exeter and Bessie Storch (Daniel) of Napoleon, Ohio; and his siblings, Scott Slane (Stephanie) of Clyde, Ohio, Cecilia Slane of Fremont and Nancy Bartlett (Bob) of Fremont, Ohio. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
