He was predeceased by: his parents, George D. Sherman and Irene M. Sherman (Smith); and his brother Charles Sherman. He is survived by: his spouse Neoma Ruth Adams; his children, Richard Bittle (Diane) of Galena, Ronnie Bittle (Jayne) of Neosho, Lyle Bittle of Purdy, Missouri, Rebecca Jo Sherman (Kevin) of Holiday Island, Arkansas, Phyllis Easley (Ed) of Cassville and Debra Blankenship (Pat) of Jenkins, Missouri; and his sister Joyce Kohley of Goodman, Missouri. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
