She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Hinds and Lydia Hinds (Glocksien); her spouse Willie Birchfield; her sons, Cecil and Marvin Birchfield; her brother Wilburn (Delbert Birchfield); her daughter Verna June Birchfield; her brother Glen Calvin Hinds; her brothers-in-law, Junior Ledbetter and Hubert Ledbetter; and her daughter-in-law Beverly Birchfield.
She is survived by: her sons, Roy Birchfield (Kathy) of Granby, Lloyd Birchfield and Johnny May (Janet); and her siblings, Nathan Hinds (Marla) of Exeter, Kenneth Hinds (Carl), June Ledbetter of Clever and Jewel Ledbetter of Warsaw. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
