He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Gilliland and Carole Tilton; and his son James David Horton. He is survived by: his wife Iris Renee Titus-Gilliland; his children, Matthew B. Andrews, Mitchell Earlywine, Steven Gilliland, Lara Andrews Kutz, Heather Fogle and Jessica Gilliland; and his siblings, Jamie Gilliland, John Gilliland, Sheryl Fritz, Julie Gilliland and Beth Gilliland-Charnick. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and one great grandchild.
He was an avid biker and participated in countless rides for charity.
