Roy Wayne Marlin Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roy Wayne Marlin of Excelsior Springs, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 22, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his partner Jackie Collins; his grandparents, Len and Mary McRorey; his parents, Clark Marlin and Delia Marlin (McRorey); his sister Beverly "June" Bacon; his stepsiblings, Harvey Swearingen, Jr. and Patty Havelrigg; and also Dallas Gantt.
He is survived by: his children, Jerry Wayne Marlin (Barbara) and Rhonda O'Dell (Mark); his grandchildren, Lauren Patton (Brad), Kimberly Edwards (Jeff), Natalie Crocker (Jerry) and Austin Marlin (Mikala); his great grandchildren, Hayden Patton, Madison Marlin, Adalynn Crocker, Gemma Patton, Avery Marlin and JJ Edwards; his partner's children, Rebecca Collins, Randall Collins (Toni) and Raymond "Bruce" Collins (Paula); and also, Prema Railey, Lindsay Biere (Brett), Cheyenne Tavares (Joe), Randall "Scott" Collins (Terah), Kelsey Buford (Josh), Kara Alvardo (Anthony), Kendal, Mason, Collins Grace Tavares, Cooper, Beckett, Silas Collins, Emersyn Biere, Everly, Brooks Buford, Nelli and Romy Alvarado.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bross & Spidle Funeral Home (217 W Broadway Ave, Excelsior Springs, MO 64024).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Parkinson's Foundation in Roy's name.
