He is survived by: his wife Melanie Grooms; his children, Melissa Abele (Chuck) and Ben Grooms (Britney); his grandchildren, Emilee, Madison, Josiah and Caleb; his mother Norma Sparks; and his siblings, Marolyn Medders, Tom Grooms, Dan Grooms and Rick Castillo.
