She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Pete Peterson and Edna Peterson; her sister Irene Nikolai; her husband Roy "Skip" Washam; and her children, Denise Olson (Mitchell) of Lathrop, Craig Mitchell of Harriman, Tenn, Celeste Broderick (Patrick) of Excelsior Springs and Shannon Washam (Kim) of Lathrop. She was also cherished by nine grandchildren; and five great grandsons.
