It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Michael Eugene Mings of Excelsior Springs, Missouri, who passed away at the age of 68, on March 16, 2024. He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmitt Alfred Mings and Opal Carol Mings (Nickols); and his sisters, Myrna Ellington, Nannette Bretzke and Laura Joann Mings.

He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Mings of Excelsior Springs; his sons, Daniel Mings of Excelsior Springs and David Mings of Excelsior Springs; his grandchildren, Ezekiel, Elijah and Kameron; and his brother Jonathan Mings (Holly). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Living Word Church in care of the funeral home.
