He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Siegel and Oneta Siegel; and his wife Pat Siegel. He is survived by: his children, Roger Siegel (Kim) of Excelsior Springs and Cheryl Clemens (Marty) of Kansas City; his sister Joyce Hurt of Kansas City; his grandchildren, Ryan Clemens, Drake Siegel (Cierra Frederickson), Ericka Jordan (Siegel) and Adam Clemens (Haleigh Murphey); and his great grandchild Alivia Jordan.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in Melvin's honor to the Excelsior Springs High School, Activities Department, 612 Tiger Dr., Excelsior Springs, MO 64024.
