She was predeceased by: her parents, George Jones and Zelma Jones (Clark); her husband Charles D. Swearingin; and her siblings, Jacqueline O'Dell, Geraldine Traylor and Harold Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Kathryn Wachter and Charles "Chuck" Swearingin (Marcy); her grandchildren, Brooke Granger (Sterling), Chris Swearingin (Emily) and Kaleb (Melody Granger); and her sister Wanda Kennedy. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
