With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce Faye (Neal) Mercer (Excelsior Springs, Missouri), born in Richmond, Missouri, who passed away on December 13, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Perry T. Neal and Madge Elena Neal (Edwards); and her son-in-law Robert Nave. She is survived by: her husband Ramon D. Mercer; her son Dallas; her daughter-in-law Laura Mercer; her daughters, Lisa Nave and Sonya of Excelsior Springs; her son-in-law Kevin Morgan of Excelsior Springs; her great grandchildren, Aiden, Connor, Noah, Landon, Mackenzie, Timothy, Amber, Makalya, Ramy, Arianne, Abel and Lorenzo; and her sister-in-law Shirley Proffitt.
Joyce wished that anyone who wanted to contribute in her memory and, due to her love of the Arts, give their expression of comfort with donations to the Excelsior Springs School District Music Department within the high school.
