He was predeceased by: his parents, James Sloan and Sara Elizabeth Sloan (Lizzie Peery); and his siblings, Lucille McKown, Billy Sloan, Sara Hankins, Judy Stevenson and Tommy Sloan.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Wyman; his children, Rick, Rodney, Debbra Mullikin (Matt) and Jeri Hartnett; his grandchildren, William McGaugh, Emmy McGaugh, Heather Sloan, Kelsey Sloan, Zack Hartnett, Connor Hartnett (Ysabella) and Preston Sloan; his great grandchildren, Gavin, Chloe McAdams and Raelin McGaugh; and his siblings, Lora Irene Chappel, Barbara Masters, Jimmy Sloan, Kenny Sloan, Rodney, Theresa Arnold, Chris, Jill McRorey, Lily, Morgan and Colbie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
