He was predeceased by: his wife Susan Schmidt Holtzclaw; and his sister Jacqueline Hudlemeyer. He is survived by: his son Matthew Gaede of Florida; his parents, Jack Holtzclaw of Excelsior Springs and Arlene Holtzclaw of Excelsior Springs; his siblings, Patricia Long (Dennis) of Excelsior Springs, Jerry Holtzclaw (Virginia) of Phoenix and Benjamin Holtzclaw (Amanda) of Penrose, N. C.; and also Tammy Gaede of Florida. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
