It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gail D. Hawkins of Excelsior Springs, Missouri, who passed away on September 1, 2021, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Karl Shelor; and her sisters, Shelly Shelor and Carla Young. She is survived by: her mother Mary Shelor; her former husband Hugh L. Hawkins; her siblings, Terry Tate (Frank), Jennifer Snelling (Mike), John Shelor (Amy) and Jeff Shelor (Chrissy); her children, Donald Tipton, Karl Tipton, Elizabeth Smith (Mike) and William Hawkins (Amanda); her grandchildren, Krislyn Tipton, Madilyn Tipton, Sydney Tipton, Kelsey Chinn, Weston Smith and Wyatt Smith; and also Donald A. Tipton. She is also survived by several nieces, nephew, cousins, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to "Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary Alzheimer's Charity".
