It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Ann Anderson (Excelsior Springs, Missouri), who passed away on February 16, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Burton and Ethel Burton; her husband Wilbur "Andy" Anderson; and her siblings, Raymond Burton, Bill Burton, Harold Burton, Howard Burton, Gerald Burton, Gladys Budine and Winifred Higdon.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael (Patty) of Breckenridge, CO, Craig (Allison) of Olathe, KS and Del of Breckenridge, CO.; her granddaughters, Erin Anderson Giebink of Minneapolis, MN, Madeline Anderson of Lenexa, KS, Jane Anderson Montgomery of Charleston, SC and Claire Anderson of Ocala, FL; and her great grandchildren, Charles and Maeve Giebink. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren as a fun-loving companion.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Family Home (1401 S Prospect St, Kearney, MO 64060). She worked for JC Penney for 45 years until the Covid pandemic prompted her to retire at the age of 85.
