He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl V Mitchell and Ora Mitchell; his siblings, Bernie Mitchell and Bonita Morris; his daughter Janice Mitchell; and his grandson Max Deitrickson.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Mitchell; his children, Susan Romazon (Randy) and Randy Mitchell (Jody); his grandchildren, Corey Romazon (Tasha), Andrea Mitchell, Bethany Taylor, Zach Deitrickson and Brock Mitchell (Anna); and his great grandchildren, Peyton, Gage, Bella Sams, Sadie Taylor, Oakley and Emery Romazon. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins, and a multitude of friends.
In lieu of flowers, his family suggests financial donations in his remembrance to Flack Memorial Church, 1300 Tracy Ave., Excelsior Springs, MO 64024.
