We are sad to announce that on August 6, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Douglas Sturby (Excelsior Springs, Missouri), born in Moberly, Missouri. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Struby and Irene Struby; his wife Janice Struby; and his sisters-in-law, Marsha and Marilyn.
He is survived by: his daughter Cara Slaven (David) of Shawnee; his grandchildren, Caden, Rylee, Payton and Alison; and his siblings, Carl (Diana), Dave (Kathy), Charley, Diane Winter (Don) and Pam Hannifan (Mark). He is also survived by 17 nieces and nephews and 26 great nieces and nephews.
Donations may be made to Down Home Ranch in Elgin, TX, Great Plains SPCA Pet Adoption Center, or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in his memory and honor.
