It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas E. Roberts of Excelsior Springs, Missouri, born in Kingsport, Tennessee, who passed away on September 12, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde E. Roberts and Ruby Roberts (Osborne); and his brothers, Thomas Roberts and Dallas Roberts. He is survived by: his wife Patricia E. Roberts (Bass); his brother Norman Roberts of Spokane, Washington; his children, Carmen Jones (Troy) of Lebanon and Douglas E. Roberts (Pam) of Warsaw, Missouri; his grandchildren, Jeremy Knecht (Suzanne) of Lawson, David Roberts (Nikki) of Kansas City, Drake Roberts of Warsaw, Jessie Dysart (Clinton) of Chillicothe and Jamie Jones of Lebanon, Missouri; and his great grandchildren, Colin Knecht, Desiray Santucci, Danaka Knecht, Levi Knecht, Noah Roberts, Ziah Roberts, Scarlett Roberts, Gabriele Roberts, Aerith Roberts and Autumn Dysart.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to Mount Calvary Lutheran Church in memory of Douglas Roberts.
