He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva Raymond Spidle and Lila Margaret Louise Guffey; and his siblings, Ida, Edith, Carol, Wyvon and Harlen.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Mae Hart; his sister Julia of Bolivar; his daughter Katherine Palmer (Mark) of Excelsior Springs; and his grandchildren, Kelly Dailey (Steven) of Branson, Stephanie Lindner of Branson, Emily Palmer (Noah Talton) of Kansas City, Tyler Palmer of Springfield and Justin Mallott (Nicolette) of Lee's Summit. He is also survived by six great grandchildren; and many other close friends.
